Debut Designers
Fresh Perspectives
See Jeremiah, Laura and Steven on Saturday at 10am

Jeremiah is a Senior Floral Designer
with Claridge’s Flowers in London.
Originally from South Wales, Jeremiah began his floristry career at a young age and went on to establish his own floral studio before moving to London in 2025 to further develop his career within the world of luxury floristry. He quickly established himself within one of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotels, Claridge’s. At just 20 years old, he is one of the youngest senior floral designers working within London’s luxury hospitality industry.

After spending time abroad, Laura returned to her family
business, Helen James Flowers, in 2017, where she continued to develop her passion for floristry. Laura went on to complete her Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Floristry at Shipley College.
Since then, Laura had the privilege of competing at the
prestigious Harrogate Flower Show, where she’s been delighted to receive several first-place awards.
A career highlight came in 2024, when she was awarded a Gold
Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show — an incredibly proud moment and one that has been a defining achievement in her floristry career.
Laura was also a finalist for BFA Florist of the Year in both 2024 and 2025.

See Abigail, Ashleigh and Katie on Sunday at 10am

Abby’s passion for floristry began as a hobby and has grown into a career she truly loves. After achieving her Level 4 qualification, she has continued to develop her skills by attending masterclasses across the
country and learning from leading industry professionals. Her creativity and dedication have brought success in several competitions, including 1st and 3rd place at the Harrogate Flower Show, along with Best in Show. She has also been a two-time finalist in the BFA UK Florist of the Year: Newcomer competition, where she achieved 3rd place, and was proudly selected as a finalist in WorldSkills.

Ash is a Liverpool based, field-to-vase florist and part of the floristry team at Field 28, a family run flower and vegetable farm in
Cheshire. After training independently in 2021, Ash has freelanced across UK events, retail, and festivals. Her style is rooted in seasonality, blending
naturalistic design with unexpected colour and texture. Country garden, with a rebellious edge. At Field 28, Ash coordinates retail and wholesale orders while leading community workshops.
Driven by a passion for connection, she loves using flowers to bring people together and is delighted to make her Fleurex debut as a designer this year.

Katie is the proud owner of aFlorist in Chesterfield.
Leaning into competition floristry has shaped her creative direction, and
refining those skills at The Floristry School Sheffield, where she achieved her Level 4 Higher Diploma, has been a key part of that journey. Demonstrating at FleurEx feels like a natural progression, arriving alongside her place in the UK Florist of the Year finals. Standing on a stage where she has watched world‑renowned designers shape her understanding of floristry feels surreal. Katie is excited to share her creativity throughout a weekend that celebrates skill, learning, and inspiration.
